Don’t share your gaming activity on Facebook yet? Well now there’s even more of a reason to do so! We now have images for all your achievements when you earn them on Raptr.

Finally, we’ve improved the performance of our website. It should load noticeably faster now. We hope you enjoy the new features!

However in the past several weeks, we had trouble getting trophy data from Sony in a reliable fashion. Unfortunately, Sony has made it clear that they do not wish to share their trophy data with other sites at this time. As a result, we’ve decided to turn off tracking of their trophies. Our goal is to always provide a reliable service that you can count on, so please accept our apologies for any frustration this may have caused you due to trophies not updating in a timely manner.

We’ll continue to keep our eyes and ears open for when Sony might once again share their data with services like Raptr, but in the meanwhile, we will be taking out all PSN trophies from our site. We expect all of them to be removed within the next few weeks.

PSN cards will still remain in everyone’s Raptr profiles, and those  profiles will link to your corresponding page on PSN. We hope everyone enjoyed the feature while it lasted, and we hope that Sony decides to be more open with their data at some point in the future. Raptr will continue to have all PS3 games cataloged on our site so that you can easily add them to your library, track your PS3 gaming activity manually, and let your friends know what PS3 games you like and play. And of course, we will continue to automatically track your Xbox and PC games presence as well as automatically track your Xbox, Steam, and WoW achievements.

I’m sure you’ve seen those Mafia War updates on Facebook. They have giant pictures and descriptions and now we do too! Now when you play a game, instead of setting your status, Raptr updates with your custom message and adds it to your feed.

Before when you wrote an awesome review, you had no way of sharing it with your friends without telling them to go to the game page. Now, you can share your reviews automatically by turning on the share feature in your sharing settings or share individual reviews manually. Go ahead, kick start that gaming journalism career!

Finally, we’ve started work on consolidating game pages. We begin with a small step: adding demos into the main page. The next step will be a big one!

Is the Raptr client not detecting some of your games? With out newest tool, you can now manually add the game! WARNING: This feature is in ALPHA. Manually adding a game will work for majority of games (including Steam games), but will not work for more complex games (more specifically, games with multiple launchers such as Aion or Free Realms). For those that don’t work, let us know in the Help forums and we’ll do our best to get them added in. To get to the tool, go to your “preferences” in the client, the “Add Game” button will be in the “Games” sub-menu.

Finally, we’ve tweaked some stuff behind the scenes to improve client stability and performance. Enjoy!

We’ve also made changes here and there to match our new achievement features including: achievement module on your front page, PSN module in your profile, feed updates when you pass friends in achievements, and more. From there, the social media menu will pop-up. You could hook up Champions Online with your Facebook or Twitter, but only Raptr keeps all the achievements and items you earn. Show off your achievements or compare them with friends!

Click the gear and you’ll be prompted to go to raptr.com to set up an account. If you already have an account and you are signed in, then you’ll go straight to the “Remote Key” page – you’ll get an unique remote key. Type in your remote key in Champions and you’re good to go!

And that’s it! Now whenever you start a game, earn an high level achievement, equip a rare item, or gain an important level, Raptr will track it and announce it to your feed as well your connected accounts.

Champions Online is the first of many games that feature full Raptr integration. Here’s a quick demo of me leveling from level 2 to level 3 (Champions does NOT announce low levels anymore for obvious reasons – just imagine it’s me leveling to 40):

Now you can see what games your friends are playing even if they aren’t online. Raptr makes it easier to play with your friends!

Want to look through Raptr.com but too lazy to navigate? Use our search bar to find that new game to add to your wishlist!

Remember those hovers? Well now you can actually interact with them! Go ahead and click on you friend’s profile to see how they’re doing, or click on their game to check out the game they’ve been playing. If we have a demo for that game and you don’t have it, you can download it through the Raptr client!

We’re introducing more embeddable badges. Just head over to your badge page and check out the new stuff you can embed! We’ll be adding more, so keep checking back!

We knew that the “your games” page needed work. Hopefully with this release, we’re taking a step in the right direction! Now when you click on “your games” page, you will see more details about your game, bigger box art, and ways to interact with the game (remove, love, etc).

On our quest to add full achievement functionality, we bring you achievement comparisons with your friends. All you have to do is go to any game page and you can compare your achievement count with your friends for that game.

That’s pretty much it for this update. We’re always adding more features to both Raptr.com and the Raptr client so keep checking back!
