Raptr Q&A: Chris Kluwe and Skulls of the Shogun recap
This week, we’ve got lifelong gamer, Tripping Icarus bassist, author of Beautifully Unique Sparkleponies, and occasionally punter for the Minnesota Vikings, Chris Kluwe, taking the Raptr Q&A hotseat. He’ll be answering all your video-game questions here on Wednesday, March 20th, from 10AM-6PM PT (though he may answer the occasional other question as well).
Start asking your questions now and “like” the questions you most want answered, and he’ll get to them first! The asker of the best question will win a Logitech G710+ Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, G400 Optical Gaming Mouse, and G930 Gaming Headset (US shipping only, sorry)!
Last week, we had 17-BIT’s Jake Kazdal, Borut Pfeifer, and Ben Vance answering all your Skulls of the Shogun and indie-dev questions. Read about what it takes to start up in the indie-dev world, what flavor Doritos the guys enjoy, and the rest of the Q&A recap here.
PAX East Raptr Panel
Couldn’t get to PAX East this year? Don’t worry! Raptr has got you covered and now you can participate in PAX East festivities from the comfort of your Raptr dashboard.
This year we are hosting a panel on why the community’s voice matters in game development, live services, game enhancements, and more. Help us show why community matters by asking your questions in this thread here! The best questions (as determined by esteemed panelist, Rob Smith) will be answered during the panel and the selected participants will receive ultra exclusive swag.
The panel, Community: The Most Important Bullet Point Not on the Box, will be moderated by Machinima’s editor-in-chief Rob Smith and includes panelists: Demian Linn (Raptr’s Director of Community), Capcom’s Brett Elston, Bethesda’s Matt Grandstaff, CCP’s Sveinn Johannesson, and Ubisoft’s Gabe Graziani. If you’re attending PAX East, the panel will take place in Wyvern Theatre on Friday, 3/22 at 5-6PM EST.

Raptr Dino Contest: Gaming’s Ultimate Betrayals
Last week, we had over 375 betrayal stories submitted in our dino contest! We’re still sorting through it all — and laughing at all the unfortunate team kills – so hang tight and we’ll have a list of winners! Read up on all the mishaps here and continue sharing your stories of woe — though you won’t be entered to win a dino (but you can apply for a dino on our Capture the Raptr page).
Raptr Game Nights
Last week we had an explosive Halo 4 game night. Though most of my kills were of the vehicular nature, we had tons of close matches that definitely showed the best of what the Halo 4 community has to offer. Raptr user, xxwinger24xx proclaimed that, “it was the funnest group of people I have played with in a long time.” Likewise, Nutcase Reborn said, “the game night was hardcore. I’m looking forward to the next. Lolz were had even after the night concluded.”
Special thanks to Kaz for helping me with hosting duties! And thank you to all those who participated! If you missed the Halo 4 game night, no worries! Check out this thread here to find Spartans aiming to misbehave!
