Track Your PlayStation Trophies With Raptr!

Trophy tracking has been our biggest request since we started achievement tracking. We tried and tried again but something would always get in our way. Now finally, we’re happy to announce that PlayStation Trophies can now be tracked on Raptr!

How to track your PlayStation trophies:

1) Download and run the Raptr App

2) Add your PSN information via any of the “Add Account” methods

That’s it! Keep your Raptr App on for the most up to date trophy data. Don’t forget, the Raptr app can also let you know what all of your PSN friends are doing, even if they’re not on Raptr!

One major concern that some people have is giving their username and password – all passwords are stored locally on your machines; we have no way of accessing your passwords nor do we want to.

Note: Having your PSN ID entered on raptr.com is NOT enough to keep your trophies up to date! You MUST run the Raptr App.

When you’ve earned a new PSN trophy (or when you’re done playing), make sure to go to your XMB on your PS3 (CrossMediaBar) and view your trophies. That will sync your PS3 with playstation.com and update your trophies to Raptr. It does take a few minutes for us to see the trophies, but it shouldn’t take too long for us to get them!

Mac Raptr Client support for Xbox Live and PSN ID please =)

  2. Chrisnixon says:

…so this Playstation support is for PC users only? That seems stupid.

  3. Ryan says:

Yeah, this doesn’t really help Mac users with PS3s at all. Thanks anyways… I guess.

  4. Auryon says:

    Aww, no Mac support. :[

  5. Paranoimia says:

I don’t see why you need our PSN login details when numerous other sites have been managing to track trophy data using just the PSN ID for a long time now.

I’m not willing to divulge my PSN password to any third party for any reason, and I’m sure many others feel the same – so this is ultimately pointless.

  6. BlackieX says:

Maybe I missed something, but nowhere did I see them requesting my PSN password, anymore than they did my Xbox Live password- all they requested was my user id.

  7. rodrigowar says:

Nice. Now Sony must speed the things out. If they have sone kind of autosync like Xbox Achievments it would be perfect. I’m using it Raptr right now and it’s very nice to see my Trophies in my dashboard.

Maybe you guys could followup with the recently games played .

    Thanks for this update!

  8. rodrigowar says:

    Just one more thing…

Did you noticed that not all trophies come to Raptr? Maybe you could fix it

  9. splinter_girl88 says:

Finally :D I’ve been waiting for this. I don’t use anything else but the Raptr IM for chatting, and I was disappointed in Sony for not wanting to share the trophy info and everything, but I was hoping it would all get fixed eventually :)
Oh, and it would be nice if the games could show up in the recent activity feed and last played games, but I’m sure you guys are working on it :)

Keep up the good work, guys!

  10. James says:

How long does it take to do it? I synced my trophies to the server and I had gotten a few Red Dead Redemption Trophies. I haven’t seen them on my Raptr profile yet, but my steam ones are still being synced.

  11. FAoOHxSniperFox says:

@James – It usually takes up to 10 minutes for most places.

  12. FAoOHxSniperFox says:

    One more thing

@Raptr – When could we expect to see, if at all, auto tracking of game time for the PS3?

  13. Asgorath says:

I was going to cheer until I read you need to download and use the client for this. When so many other sites don’t force you to do anything like this that is a huge disapointment. While I still have a PC (primarly a Mac user however) I don’t want to install & run any client on my PC.

  14. Trevor says:

Very cool. Too bad about the lack of Mac support though. :/

Also, I’ve noticed that Trine is missing from my PS3 games list. I’ve added it manually for now but the trophies don’t show up.

It’d be nice if I could compare trophies between platforms. I’m playing RDR on PS3 but friends are playing it on 360. Raptr treats them as different.

Finally, it’d be nice if it showed that I’d been playing games on my PS3 but I appreciate how impractical that is right now!

  15. Steve says:

So let me get this right, I need to have either the windows or iPhone app open and logged in for it to sync my PS3 trophies?

  16. KwZ says:

Guys, I was one of the few that was always asking for this.

You dit it. Great Job, love it.

Congratulations and thanks, keep up the good work. You guys are running a great site now for gamers who love to play on all plataforms, not just one.

  17. LaCosaNostra84 says:

Hey guys, glad we can track trophies now – although some are missing (teething troubles I assume which is more then understandable).

I’m sure you’re already looking into game tracking in terms of time playing etc – seeing as the client can see when you start a game and end it doesn’t seem to complex to have that implemented. Or even a button in the client to start a timer and then click it to finish when your gaming session has ended? I’m sure we wouldn’t mind a more convenient and senisble manual update like that while you guys work on auto tracking :-)

Keep up the good work though peeps!

  18. deputyscraps says:

Great work Raptr, this a big step forward. And Im disappointed at the amount of bitching in the above comments, one step at a time, dont demand everything all at once, theyve made plenty of progress.

  19. Starstew says:

Sounded exciting at first, but really… we already have this with the PSN widget on the site. And it doesn’t work on Mac. I’m looking forward to full PSN support someday (I’m guess it’s up to Sony’s API gatekeepers), including game-time tracking. Same with Steam, OpenFeint and Apple’s upcoming unified game service.

  20. Shrapnel says:

Wait, I actually HAD to input usernames AND passwords on the Raptr client. Is there something wrong with that? It sounded strange, yes, but I inputted them anyway since I think I can trust Raptr…

  21. Larry Cristello says:

I’ve downloaded the client but it doesn’t work.I get message ubable to connect to Rapyr IM.Please try later. Can anyone help

    Thanks in advance

  22. Baihu1983 says:

    Can someone help?

Ive downloaded the Raptr client and it shows my Xbox live account fin but when i put in my email adress for PSN it wont connect?

  23. Works great, shame it doesn’t show history of what you’ve played recently, but one step at a time.

  24. Morris Levy says:

Raptr is not working for me. Please help.

    About my setup:
    PS3 60GB Model (Modded to 500 GB) 2007-November
    Apple iMac OSX 10.6.4
    Raptr Client v0.5.1

No support for PS3 in the version of Raptr for Macintosh? Help!?

  25. Anarax says:

    WHAT, no mac support?!?!

  26. Bills4815162342 says:

Any update on the Blue Toad trophies

  27. silverkiro says:

where did it ask you for your password for psn? it only asked me for my ID. and I dont see any thing for my ps3? I did go into trophies but still nothing here, do I need to play a game, then go into trophies, then maybe it will show up?

  28. dmann says:

I am trying to get the PSN going on Raptr client, but its saying ‘Connection Error’

Im putting in all the correct details, Ive had PSN for a while, on PSP before PS3.

Why am I seeing trouble like this?

By the way, added 360 on it, took all of 1 second to work…

  29. pat_boy2008 says:

Yay 1.0.3 fixed the PSN login problem! Thank you!

  30. silverkiro says:

It works now- that is Way Cool- thanks raptr :-)

  31. Mawmma B3ar says:

Why does it say “disconnected” when I try to log in with my psn info -_-

  32. Eric Mesa says:

is there a new unannounced update? Because it is now tracking my trophies without me needing to be logged in with teh raptr client! Awesome!!

  33. ShamBonk! says:

Yeah, it won’t let me connect my PSN ID with my Raptr Client. WTH MAN!?!?!?!?!?

  34. Rob says:

This is just plain stupid that there is not a mac client to help track this for mac users. IF you can make an iPhone app to login in and see your info you should have a mac app to do the same since Mac users own just as many consoles as PC users. So don’t use the excuse mac users don’t game. Get your act together and relaunch a client that we can use.

  35. gtasthehunter says:

I just started to try to manually track ps3 game that was mostly started months ago need to be able to enter more then just 3hrs like 20,30,79<FF13-2,140<FF13
