Who is the Biggest Loser at Raptr?
April is over and that means our Biggest Loser Competition is over as well. For 30 days, a handful of us weighed ourselves periodically hoping that our attempts at losing weight would be answered in the results. We tried everything - eating less, eating more often, eating different foods, drinking less soda, exercising more, lifting weights more, lifting weights less, and so on.
In the end, the winner by a landslide was our newest addition, Andrew. Andrew joined us a week after we started our contest but we let him know ahead of time and he started his diet change before he even joined us. He was so far in the lead from week 1 that most of us were competing for second place, or perhaps just avoiding last place on any given week. Here are the week to week results:
To celebrate the end of the competition, we all went to an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ joint but with a twist. In the spirit of watching our weight, we all weighed ourselves prior to lunch and immediately after. I don’t know how much one usually gains from a meal but the average after this particular meal was 3lbs. Rico gained an impressive 4.5lbs in just 90 minutes.
That’s more than most of us lost over the course of 30 days.
